I'm assuming that the thought of Denver landing Aaron Rodgers

  • The Giants have some promising passing rushers, and their potential there is too  Mut 23 coins high to ignore. There wasn't too long ago that Thibodeaux was seen as the No. number one overall selection, but teams that are at the highest of the draft will favor security over potential. This pick is going to really broaden the Giants 3-4-5 pass rush and give them plenty of weapons at quarterbacks in opposition.

No. 6- Carolina Panthers -- Ikem Ekwonu OT, N.C. State

Ekwonu is a promising prospect who is climbing the boards because of his athletic abilities, however, there are concerns about whether he can be left linebacker at this level. It's a fact that the Panthers offensive line are so bad that they don't even pay attention to the position he's going to end in along the line. If he has to be transferred to right tackle it's an improvement. Guards moved inside, the Panthers have to consider that. Carolina won't have the same reservations and should be pleased with the pick.

No. 7. New York Giants (from Chicago) -- Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

With the apparent devotion in Daniel Jones it's time to upgrade the line of attack. Cross is a solid, reliable day 1 starter at either tackle position. With right tackle Andrew Thomas making a huge jump this season it's now important to solidify the rest on the offensive line. While Cross appears more like being a right tackle he has the strength and size to excel at both ends. The versatility of his game will be appreciated.

No. 8: Atlanta Falcons -- Derek Stingley Jr, CB, LSU

Any disappointment in Thibodeaux going down will disappear with the realization that the Falcons are getting most effective cornerbacks in the draft. Stingley is the entire package and has every chance to be a top outside corner at the next level with a bit of coaching complete his drive and determination.

No. 9: Denver Broncos -- Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

I'm assuming that the thought of Denver landing Aaron Rodgers is a pipe dream. New head coach Nathanial Hackett has a QB coach's background, and it's very clear that Drew Lock ain't it. Pickett has an above-average arm, a high level of athleticism, and is a bit exaggerated. I'm not saying that he's Aaron Rodgers, but there are some resemblances here cheap madden 23 coins . I believe Pickett could become an above average player, with the possibility of going much further with a coaching team who can increase his understanding of pressure.
